Title: Social Worker - Licensed Independent (LISW) - Substitute

 

Reports to: Assigned administrator/supervisor

 

Job Objective: Provides counseling and psychosocial intervention services.  

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Note: Additional specific training may be required (e.g., blood borne pathogen, child abuse/neglect, communicable disease, CPR, first aid/injury prevention, nonviolent crisis intervention, etc.).

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Assesses the social/emotional needs of student related to learning. Enhances the lines of communication between home, school, and the community.  Helps develop intervention plans to prevent or remediate identified concerns.

2. Exemplifies professionalism to enhance NwOESC and member district public images. 

3. Maintains open/effective communications. Serves as a reliable information resource.

4. Pursues opportunities to enhance personal performance.

5. Keeps current with emergency management plan procedures.

6. Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.

Performance Evaluation:

CONTRACT: 2026-2027 School Year

 

LOCATION: Four County Career Center and Archbold Local Schools

SALARY: Daily substitute rate based on the adopted salary schedule and the candidate’s experience.

 

BENEFITS: Substitute position; Membership in the State Teachers’ Retirement System is included.
