NwOESC Paraprofessional; Full-time or Part-Time; Williams County; 2023-24 school year
We are looking for individuals who would like full-time employment or are interested in part-time employment to share with others. Days worked will be consistent every week.
The following districts have openings:
Per the 2023-24 school calendar. This position will continue into the following school year.
*Positions available include the following schedules: 7:45 am-3:15 pm /or/ 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Edgerton, Full-Time instructional assistant at the HOPE Center, Special Education, Elementary, Monday-Friday
7:45 am to 3:15 pm
QUALIFICATIONS (partial list):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FBI and BCI background checks are required.
- Hold or be qualified to obtain an Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit.
- Ability to learn skills appropriate for the position.
- Demonstrated maturity and the ability to work with students with special needs
DESCRIPTION: A paraprofessional supports students in meeting their educational goals under the supervision of the classroom teacher; performs a variety of educational and support services to help achieve productive learning experiences; provides guidance and encouragement to help students pursue their intellectual, social, and emotional potentials; promotes the inclusion of students with disabilities into regular classrooms and school activities; recognizes each professional contact as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the educational service center.
LOCATION: Public Schools located in Williams County - specific school to be determined
CONTRACT: Per the 2023-24 school calendar
SALARY: Per salary schedule based on experience
BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal days. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance are available if working over 25 hours/week. Membership in the SERS retirement system
