NwOESC Paraprofessional; Full-time or Part-Time; Public School Position in Fulton County; 2023-24 school year

Looking for individuals who would like full-time employment or who are interested in part-time employment to job share with another individual.  Days worked will be consistent on a weekly basis.

Pike-Delta-York, Full-Time, Special Education, Preschool Building, Tuesday-Friday 7:40 am-11:10 am, 11:40 am-3:10 pm

Swanton, Part-Time, Special Education, High School, Tuesday-Friday 7:15 am-11:00 am

Swanton, Part-Time, Special Education, High school, Tuesday-Friday 11:10 am-3:15 pm

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS (partial list):       

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FBI and BCI background checks are required.
• Hold or be qualified to obtain an Educational Aide Permit.
• Ability to learn skills appropriate for the position.
• Demonstrated maturity and the ability to work with students with special needs

DESCRIPTION: A paraprofessional supports students in meeting their educational goals, under the supervision of the classroom teacher; performs a variety of educational and support services to help achieve productive learning experiences; provides guidance and encouragement to help students pursue their intellectual, social, and emotional potentials; promotes the inclusion of students with disabilities into regular classrooms and school activities; recognizes each professional contact as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the educational service center.  

 

LOCATION: Fulton County - specific school to be determined

 

CONTRACT: Per the 2023-24 school calendar

 

SALARY: Per the salary schedule

 

BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal days.  Health, dental, vision, and life insurance are available if working over 25 hours/week. Membership in the SERS retirement system
