Qualifications:

Ohio Department of Education Early Childhood Intervention Specialist PK-grade 3; or be willing to obtain a supplemental license in this area. Candidates who can obtain a substitute teaching license may be considered. DESCRIPTION:

• Travel to provide services to students in homes, private preschool programs, and Head Start programs.  Plan individual lessons to address IEP goals. 
• Develop and maintain a structured learning environment that helps students who require an alternative approach to education.  Stimulate student interest, enthusiasm, and inquisitiveness about subjects and events.
• Use the Individualized Education Program (IEP) information to prepare and carry out educational activities, including applicable daily living skills (e.g., personal hygiene, social, recreational skills, employment, community life, etc.). Vary instructional techniques to address individual student needs. 

 
LOCATIONS:  Preschool programs in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and/or Williams Counties
                                                                                                                                

CONTRACT:  Per the 2024-25 school calendar.

SALARY:  Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience

BENEFITS:  Paid sick leave and personal leave.  Health, dental, vision, and life insurance are available for full-time positions.  Membership in State Teachers Retirement System.
