POSITION: Intervention Specialist- NWOESC Special Needs Classrooms QUALIFICATIONS: Ohio State Board of Education Intervention Specialist licensure or be eligible to obtain a supplemental license. Candidates who can obtain a substitute teaching license may be considered.

EXPECTATIONS:
- Plan and implement lessons that stimulate student interest and enthusiasm.
- Work effectively as a team member with paraprofessionals and related service providers.
- Ability to provide guidance and direction to paraprofessionals.
- Utilize positive behavior supports and interventions with students.
- Vary instructional techniques to address individual student needs.
- Communicate high expectations for students and show an active interest in their progress.
- Incorporate student differences and rates of progress into teaching plans.
LOCATION: NWOESC Classrooms in Fulton and Williams Counties: Anticipated Wauseon Exempted Village District and Edon Northwest Local District CONTRACT: Per the 2024-25 school calendar SALARY: Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal leave.
